Day of the Dead Azeroth Style! Achievment – Dead Man’s Party and Macabre Marionette Pet

The Day of the Dead takes place in Azeroth on November 1 through the 2nd.

During the Day of the Dead event head to the graveyard to celebrate and cherish the spirits of those they have lost. You can find the festivities in the cemeteries of any major city where celebrants cook, drink, don costumes and more.

Dance with Catrina during this event and turn into a skeleton and earn the achievement Dead Man’s Party.

Catrina can be found at graveyards in all capital cities. Simply /dance with her long enough to be buffed with “Honor the Dead” to be awarded the achievement.

Macabre Marionette

Also there is a temporary pet you can get during the Day of the Dead World Event called Macabre Marionette.

This pet is temporary and only lasts during the Day of the Dead World Event. It does not count toward any Pet achievements!

It is a reward from the quest The Grateful Dead.

For this quest you must buy the recipe for Bread of the Dead and an Orange Marigold or a Bouquet of Orange Marigolds.
You create the bread at the Ghostly Fire next to Chapman in the graveyard. Chapman sells these items.

After you receive the items go to the the graveyard of your character’s home city or in the neutral capital cities of Shattrath City and Dalaran.

Have the bread and equip the marigolds and you will see a Cheerful Spirit quest giver who has the quest The Grateful Dead. Then complete quest and get your Macabre Marionette Pet!
